A record¶

To add an A record, you will need to access your domain registrar's DNS management page. The exact steps may vary depending on your registrar, but generally, you should be able to follow these general steps:

1. Log in to your domain registrar's account and go to the DNS management page for your domain.
2. Look for an option to add a new DNS record, and select "A" record type.
3. Enter the domain name you want to point to your Nginx Proxy Manager installation.
4. In the "Value" field, enter the IP address of the server where Nginx Proxy Manager is installed.
5. Save the record and wait for the DNS changes to propagate, which can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours.

Once the DNS changes have propagated, the A record will be pointing to your website installation and you can proceed with configuring it further.
